<%@ LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" %> The NT Plan

Welcome To The EECS NT Page

What's happening?

Well, you may not know anything about Windows NT or you might have some Windows 95 or DOS experience but we are trying to shift all Intel based computers to Windows NT. There are quite a few reasons, security, stability, a common OS, ease of support, software maintenance and installation... and many more. A few attributes that draw people towards Windows NT might be the flexibility and availability of software, or maybe a common interface that they might be familiar with at home, or simply because it's cool.....

Since this seems to be a perfect chance to setup A GREAT NT environment, we are trying to get it right from the start. Intel and Microsoft have both made contributions. Because of these contributions we are able to get an easy start and organize things to minimize future administration of computers and ease users into the new environment now.
